Man Utd against Brighton & Hove Albion – Premier League Match Report
Match Preview
Manchester United, coming off victories against Liverpool and Sunderland, look to make it a trio of victories in a row this evening. Confidence is high under Ruben Amorim for the very first time!
However, their visitors tonight come from the south coast, having triumphed during three consecutive away games at Manchester United’s home, and six of the last seven fixtures head-to-head.
Forget the momentum; Brighton have found very comfortable. Having said all that, Brighton themselves remain as gloriously unpredictable like United, so this game is both fascinating and potentially highly entertaining.
Start time is 5.30pm BST and we say this for the last time in a while as the clocks go back this evening, folks. It’s on!

He sustained a knock in midweek sessions. Malacia makes the squad on the bench this campaign.
Brighton have made one change post-success against over Newcastle. Seemingly a tactical shift, swapping in Maxim De Cuyper instead of Gómez, who drops to the bench.
The striker, a member of the last Manchester United squad champions in in 2012-13, visits his old club on a hot streak scoring four in three, one more than he’d managed in his previous 15.
Build-Up
Amorim is unfazed for the opinions of Arne Slot … yet Welbeck is mindful about the considerations by the former Chelsea manager.
Various reports suggest this encounter could have implications for both teams’ seasons in the top flight campaign progresses.
Key players to watch are Fernandes for United and the Brighton forward from the away side, each performing well lately.
