Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window
A jet ferrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an emergency landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the plane's windshield, as stated by an official statement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.
"The jet landed following standard protocol and everyone onboard, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a press officer stated in a online announcement.
Hegseth was returning from a brief trip to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.
This incident is not the first time that a US military aircraft carrying a top government figure has experienced equipment failures.
Months ago, a American military jet ferrying Marco Rubio to Munich was required to turn back to Washington DC after experiencing a mechanical problem.
