This young athlete boasts substantial social media audience
The young golfer will have numerous prominent supporters when she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates numerous international courses and regularly competes against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she mentioned.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa practically told me to compete and enjoy myself," she added.
"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him quite busy."
While still amateur, Kai has played in just three tournaments this year and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA standings.
However she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's an even better individual. He suggested me to play, relax, following whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in professional golf at the competition, including second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to new audiences, especially with younger fans.
The young star has millions of followers and recently launched an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.
Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
